Wild West Women presented by Beale Street Theater

This is a lively play about women who helped win the West: Calamity Jane, Belle Starr, the horse thief, and Cattle Kate, the only woman ever hanged for cattle rustling. But the women of the Wild West took on more respectable occupations as well: Bethania Owens-Adair was a doctor, Mary Lease was a lawyer and Loretta Janeta Velasquez fought in her husband’s place in the Civil War!
