Whatever you were up to, experience a little Americana and spend Friday evening cruisin’ into the Kingman Staples Plaza on May 3rd for a drive-in showing of “one of those great ol’ movies about romance, racing and rock & roll!”

The Mohave Museum of History & Arts will be hosting a Smithsonian Museum on Mainstreet Exhibition titled ‘Journey Stories’ in the fall of 2013. The Smithsonian website states that “Journey stories are tales of how we and our ancestors came to America”, and to promote the Kingman Exhibit, the Kingman Journey Stories Committee is recruiting the community for artwork to illustrate Kingman’s Journey.

Kingman has a rich history, and there are plenty of attractions and entertainment to be found in the city. From interesting days out at the Historic Route 66 Museum, to eating at great restaurants like Redneck’s Southern Pit BBQ or Dora’s Beale Street Deli, you can always find something to do while staying in the city. Kingman is also lucky to be situated close by to some great attractions and places to visit, so if you feel like going out on a day trip, you have lots of options to choose from.
