The Andy Devine Days Festival is Kingman's largest street festival!

The Andy Devine Days Festival, formerly the Best of the West on Route 66 Fest, follows the same successful pattern as last year. UniSource Energy Vendor Row along both sides of 4th Street will open Friday at 4 PM with vendors offering food, art, and unique items until 6 PM Saturday. The Kingman Center for the Arts is hosting their first annual 6x6 Route 66 Art Show both days. The 6x6 canvases will be on display at The KCA Gallery at 208 E. Beale Street.

Free Fun Zones, scattered throughout the Festival footprint both days, will include Interstate Group & Trailerplus Mechanical Bull (Open to all ages this year!), Hualapai Mountain Resort Rock Climbing Wall, KRMC Euro Bungee Station (New this year!), Discount Sign Monster Water Slides, and Obstacle Course & Kiddie Area. To participate in the Free Fun Zones, participants must sign waivers and wear a Festival Wristband. Wristbands and Festival Information will be available at Festival Center, inside Kingman Central Church.

The free Friday night concert is featuring The Jonathon Lee Band, a West Coast Country band with a mix of country, rock, and a little bit of soul. The concert is family friendly and free to the public. The Friday Concert and the Festival Music Zone is both situated between and sponsored by Rickety Cricket Brewing and The Farmhouse. Rickety Cricket Brewing will remain open serving hand crafted beers, pizzas and pub food for the duration of the Festival.

This year’s Tractor Supply Co Human Strength Tractor Pull Competition, which drew a large crowd last year, will pit five person teams against each other pulling a two ton, 1949 John Deere Model D for the quickest run time. The competition will be held on Beale Street between Floyd & Co Real Pit BBQ and Black Bridge Brewery. Spectating is free!

Saturday morning vendors open back up at 8am. The Tour de Kingman Triathlon foot race will kick off at 9:30am, with the 1st kilometer following the Parade Route, come early to cheer them on! The Parade starts at 10am and continues almost to noon.

Immediately following the Parade, cars will begin lining up on Beale Street for the Great West Customs Car Show. A Miner’s Mineral Monument with a time capsule organized by the Boys & Girls Club will be capped and dedicated at following the Parade at 1pm. The monument is a replica of a Miner’s monument that stood in the intersection of 4th and Andy Devine until sometime in the 1940s. The City’s Historic Preservation Commission decided to rebuild it and place a 50 year time capsule inside.
