Sneak Peek to “Pickin in the Vines” Bluegrass Festival at Stetson Winery

The Stetson Winery Event Center is featuring Eric Uglum and Bud Bierhaus on Saturday, May 24,2014. Eric and Bud have played and recorded music together for over 25 years.

 

Eric Uglum is an internationally known musician, producer and owner of New Wine Recording Studio located in the High Desert of Apple Valley, California. He has performed in bands The Weary Hearts, Copperline, Lost Highway and Chris Stuart & Backcountry. Eric has also released a solo recording, Shenandoah Wind, was selected by Bluegrass Now Magazine as the 2010 album of the year, and guests on the project included Alison Krauss, Ron Block, Stuart Duncan and Rob Ickes. Eric has been featured in Flatpicking Guitar Magazine, and Bluegrass Unlimited as well as many television and radio interviews.

Bud Bierhaus is a lifelong musician and a Texas favorite for bluegrass style guitar and tenor singing where he is an in-demand session player and vocalist. He has performed at bluegrass festivals and venue’s throughout the North America. In 2012, he won the coveted Texas State Championship for flatpick guitar.

The May event is expected to sell out and is a sneak peek to the 1st Annual Kingman Pickin’ in the Vines Bluegrass Festival, which will be held October 17-19,2014. Headliners of the October Festival will be Audie Blaylock & Redline and the Spinney Brothers.

Tickets for the May 24th event are $15 in advance ($20 at the door).
