Introductory-level class. Geared toward teens and adults.
If you have ever wanted to read sheet music for any reason, as a community or church choir or band member, as an instrumentalist that wants to move beyond reading just tabs or chords, or just as someone interested in music that would simply like to learn what all those dots and lines mean on written sheet music. This class is designed for the beginning music reader, or people needing a refresher course on music reading basics and will include how to read rhythms, notes on the staff, as well as dynamics and written articulation. There will be plenty of opportunities to have your music reading questions answered throughout the course.
What to bring:
Nothing required. Optional to bring an instrument of your own to play.
