Women have gathered in circle since ancient times. It is a place to come together, share, support each other and grow. The circle is a judgement free space and an important part of the circle is the opportunity for everyone to share and be heard in a safe space, without judgement, platitudes, pleasantries or coaching. The purpose of this circle is a space for mothers and their tween daughters to come together to share a growth and bonding experience. This can be a challenging time of life for young girls as they are growing and changing. It is important to strengthen the mother/daughter bond so that it will remain close as they grow. The circle will begin with movement and a short meditation. Each week we will be exploring a new topic with a personal growth focus (values, self-love, self-worth, belief, courage, etc). There will be reflection questions that everyone will have an opportunity to speak about to the group. We will close the circle in movement. Please keep in mind that the price is per person, so each person attending will need to purchase a pass ($32). These sessions are guided by Lesley Tipton and will be 1 hour and 15 minutes on November 2, 9, 16, and 23rd from 9:00-10:15am at the Kingman ArtHub. Women have gathered in circle since ancient times.
