Beale Street Youth Theater and Kingman Center for the Arts is proud to present Shrek the Musical JR!
Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek The Musical JR., based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical.
It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance.
Join us on July 12th, 2025, for two hysterically fun performances at 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM, each running approximately 90 minutes. This family-friendly comedy is a can’t miss event with romance and twisted fairy tales! Shrek JR is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.
“We are beyond excited to host so many incredible young performers ages 10-18 for our first musical theater production in the newly renovated Beale Street Theater,” said Sidney Valdez, Education Director for Kingman Center for the Arts. “These students have spent the last three weeks rehearsing and preparing this show for their family, friends, and our community. We hope our whole community comes out to support them!”
