Sounds of Kingman along with Mohave Museum of History & Arts & In Memory of Karl & Millie Prumers Presents: Our Time, Our History Series "Set in Stone but Not in Meaning: Southwestern Indian Rock Art" featuring Allen Dart, Road Scholar. Kicking off our 2019 series , we spotlight a fascinating local phenomenon. Ancient Indian pictographs and petroglyphs are claimed by some to be forms of writing with known meanings. Mr. Dart discusses how even the same rock art symbol may be interpreted differently from popular, scientific and modern Native American perspectives. Come join us!
